Berenice Barragan Rocha
Berenice is studying variation in the widespread invasive species, Erodium cicutarium (common stork's bill, Geraniaceae). She is looking at plant traits that relate to drought tolerance in populations that vary along a rural to urban gradient, whereby urban environments are warmer and drier than more rural environments.
Cyrus Zomorrodi
Cyrus is also looking at trait variation in E. cicutarium along a rural to urban gradient, but he is examining variation in floral traits, such as flower color and cuticular water loss.
